You know what would be cool? If you could somehow go to a show and see Marvin Gaye, Frank Sinatra, and the Four Tops all perform live. Sure, it sounds impossible, but if you take a trip down to The Crown Theater on Saturday May 30th 2009 you can watch Charles Lee try to take you there. The Detroit-born Lee is coming all the way from Harrisburg, Pa., to perform for us in Jamestown. He’s part old-school doo-wop and part lounge singer, serenading tourists and locals with songs like “Some Enchanted Evening” and “My Way.” His powerful yet smooth voice meshes perfectly with the classic sound of some of Motown’s greatest. And he crams decades’ worth of experience into a very entertaining two-hour show.
